Responsibilities & Duties:

• Support continuous integration and delivery pipeline surrounding Cloud Operations.
• Drive technical innovation and efficiency in cloud infrastructure operations.
• React to and remedy system alerts.
• Facilitate after-hours deployment efforts as needed.
• Support development and QA teams in their deployment efforts as needed.
• Become thoroughly familiar with all compliance and security requirements, adhering to all policies and standards, and adapting to CI/CD platform as needed.
• Ensure pipeline platforms are redundant and backed up as needed.
• Communicate effectively and appropriately, deferring to management on communicating with external teams as needed
• Attend departmental, project, and general meetings and effectively represent status as appropriate.
• Participate in company-provided training and perform independent training and research as appropriate.
• Install system patches and application updates as directed.
• Assist in other production support efforts as needed.
• Participate in an on-call support rotation for providing after-hours support.
• Where possible, design and/or automate yourself out of any of the above duties.
• Have an appetite to work on different shifts (Asia and US Hours).
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or IT-related field
• Minimum 4-6 years of experience with server infrastructure management in either Windows or Linux
• Experience with Postgres and Tomcat is strongly desired
• Experience with AWS skills
• Persistent desire to innovate, automate, and continually improve processes
• Experience implementing Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment Automation
• Hands-on working knowledge and experience are required in:
  • Hands-on working in Linux Operating systems along with knowledge of Containerization technologies
  • Good understanding of the AWS Services EC2, DynamoDB, AWS Code Commit, Cloud Formation, AWS RDS (PostgreSQL) etc.
  • Good understanding of DevOps approaches and implementation of DevOps tools will be a bonus

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with several of the following tools/technologies is desirable:
  • GIT (Bit Bucket, Gitlab, etc.), Jira, Ansible, Jenkins, SharePoint, Terraform.
  • AWS Experience and certification is a bonus
  • Good understanding of Security principles for complex applications and systems.
  • Knowledge on ISO 27001 policies and procedures is a bonus
