Alveo is looking for resources to provide cleansing of exceptions for a Data-as-a-Service client within the Managed Service department.
This client is processing financial reference data for multiple instrument types. The main source of data is Bloomberg, where further sources are used to provide additional identifiers for the instruments. In addition, a number of simple validation rules are applied to do a minimal check on data quality.
Exceptions can be around matching issues between the sources, missing data and/or resulting from failed validations.

Required Skills
Minimum 5 years experience required in either Capital Markets Ratings and Research organizations, investment bank operations, hedge funds operations, custodian or similar entities in Capital Markets (buy side or sell side or both), reference data services

• Understanding of Capital Markets
• Experience handling different types of financial instruments data, for creation, updation, maintenance of data quality, understanding of data dictionary and mapping of attributes across data sources / vendor feeds, exceptions clearing
• Resolution of client queries and escalation management within SLA, over and above BAU tasks
• Contributing to UAT and testing for product enhancement, bugs resolutions, new features
• Experience in one or more of the following instrument classes
  • Equities, Options, Bonds
  • Convertibles (Bonds and Pfds)
  • Custom Asset Classes/Other (Market Instruments, OTC, Structured Products, Yield Curve Spread Options etc.)
  • FX and FX Forwards
  • Futures and Forwards (non FX)
  • Indexes and custom baskets
  • Preferred
  • RepoSwap (Swaptions, IR Swaps, and CDS)
  • Warrants
  • Corporate Actions
• Understanding of and experience in working with vendor data feeds
  • Bloomberg
  • Markit standard loader or similar loaders

Other skills
• Good English communication skills, both written and verbal
• Experience with Jira is a preferred or any similar ticket tools
• Knowledge of Ms Excel,Basic level of SQL is a must

Graduate / MBA with certification in Capital Markets
