Role Overview

STG Labs is scaling engineering capacity to use AI to take real work off customers’ desks: automating manual steps, surfacing the right information faster, and simplifying everyday case and archive work. The AI team is hiring strong fullstack engineers who think in systems, ship reliably, and are curious about working alongside AI to move faster without lowering the bar on quality, security, or maintainability. Shape and trajectory matter more than a specific toolset: real depth in at least one area, competent breadth across the rest, and a clear drive to keep widening your range. Teams mostly work with .NET 8/C# and MassTransit, TypeScript/React, PostgreSQL and MS SQL, and Azure (sovereign cloud) with AKS, Terraform and ArgoCD. This is the environment you would join, not a requirement to match on arrival.

Key Responsibilities

AI Products & Feature Delivery

• Build and extend AI products: create new AI products and AI‑enable existing ones, shaping how AI shows up across the portfolio.
• Ship features end‑to‑end: backend services, APIs, and frontends, as part of AI team.

AI‑Assisted Engineering & Quality

• Work with AI as a normal part of the day: agentic coding, code review, test generation, and documentation.
• Raise the team’s fluency: help the team build collective skill with AI‑assisted workflows.
• Own quality: write tests and review PRs.
• Keep changes safe: small, reversible, and SLO‑driven, with the pipeline as the only path to production.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Must‑Have (Hands‑on)

• Solid fullstack experience (mid to senior), with real depth in at least one of the three areas below and working competence across the others.
• Backend: .NET/C#; designing APIs, services, and data models; messaging and event‑driven systems.
• Frontend: React, Angular, Vue, Svelte, or similar; TypeScript, component architecture, and accessible, maintainable UIs.
• Infrastructure & platform: Azure, Kubernetes, Terraform/IaC, CI/CD, GitOps (ArgoCD or Flux), and observability.
• A track record of shipping and maintaining production software.
• Comfort with modern delivery: CI/CD, small reversible changes, and testing as a default.
• Curiosity and aptitude for AI, both using it in your own workflow and building it into products. You have experimented, or are clearly eager to.
• A growth mindset and willingness to learn outside your strongest area.

Secondary Skills

• Experience building AI‑powered features (LLM integration, RAG, agents, or similar) and a sense of how to ship them responsibly.
• A view on evaluating AI output: how you measure quality, handle hallucinations, and keep humans in the loop where it matters.
• Hands‑on experience with agentic coding tools (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or equivalents) and a view on where they help and where they don’t.
• Experience with spec‑driven development.
• A second area of genuine depth (for example backend and infrastructure, or frontend and product/UX).
• Experience with Kubernetes, IaC, GitOps, or distributed messaging.
• A habit of turning new capabilities into team‑wide practice.

Education / Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Work Mode

Hybrid — This role adheres to the organization’s hybrid work policy, requiring presence at the office on three designated days per week.
